Hi my name is Danielle! I am a Registered Social Worker and owner of Anchored Living Counselling based out of Calgary, Alberta. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, specializing in Clinical Social Work Practice, from the University of Calgary. I am passionate about mental health and I have been in the clinical field for over 11 years. During this time, I have worked with many diverse adults, youth, and families in a variety of settings ranging from correctional services, non-profit organizations, community health care, and private practice.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time being active both indoors and outdoors. Since moving to Alberta 7 years ago, the mountains have been my second home enjoying hiking, cycling, and skiing. I am a foodie at heart and I enjoy trying new restaurants within the city and returning to my select few favorites. I am in the process of training the newest addition of Anchored Living Counselling, FLUKE, who will be a therapy dog at my practice in the foreseeable future.

Hi, my name is Fluke! I am the company mascot and a therapy dog in training. I was named after a type of anchor and I cannot wait to be able to work with you. I enjoy treats and meeting new people. I need to finish all my schooling until I am able to assist you in the therapy room. Until then, you can find me in my kennel patiently waiting for you to pet me.
